Santa Claus is coming to Maynooth for the 14th annual Brighten the Night Parade on Saturday.
One of the volunteer organizers Joey Shulman says this year’s parade will be a little different than before, and will feature the return of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Shulman says there is no pre-registration required for anyone who wants to enter a float.

The nighttime parade starts at the Logger’s Field at 5:00pm, before making its way to Highway 62. Hastings Highlands Operations Manager Adrian Tomasini says the highway will be closed for about an hour starting at 4:45pm.
There will also be a kid’s party in the ANAF hall afterwards, where Santa will be giving out gifts.
