Police Charge One Man in Connection With Stolen Poppy Donation Funds

Police have laid charges after poppy funds were stolen from convenience stores in Pembroke.

That’s according to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, who says donation funds were stolen from a pair of Mac’s Convenience stores in mid-November. Police released photos of two suspects, and have now charged one of them.

A 30-year-old Pembroke man is facing four counts of theft under $5000, as well as nine counts of failing to comply with probation.
