A 20-year- old man is facing charges for resisting arrest after a traffic stop in Renfrew.
That’s according to Renfrew OPP, who say the man was stopped after 2:00 early Sunday morning. Police say they conducted a roadside screening test, which the driver failed.
OPP says that when the officer tried to handcuff the suspect, he resisted and was subdued before being handcuffed. As a result, a 20-year- old Ottawa man is facing multiple charges including impaired driving, resisting arrest and failing to stop for a red light.
