Pembroke Fire Department Searching For Cause Mary Street Fire

The Pembroke Fire Department is investigating after a house fire on Mary Street.

Fire Chief Dan Herback says that the fire was reported at around 8:15 Wednesday morning near Mary Street and Doran Street.

According to Herback, the fire was on the second floor of the building and was extinguished by 10:30 the same morning. The Fire Department says that all occupants and pets made it out of the building, however one resident was brought to hospital for smoke inhalation.

The fire department continues to try and determine a cause of the fire.
