The Town of Petawawa will have a new place for visitors to stay by 2019.
That’s after the groundbreaking ceremony on November 17th in Petawawa of a brand new TownePlace Suites by Marriott.
Construction officially started Monday and the project is expected to be completed by the spring of 2019. Marriott says new hotel will be located on the corner of Petawawa Boulevard and Murphy Road and is expected to employ about 30 new employees.
The new hotel will offer 80 rooms, with different accommodation needs being offered.
