Police Respond To Multiple Collisions Due To Icy Conditions

Killaloe OPP have responded to a pair of collisions involving icy road conditions.

Police say both collisions were over the weekend and were both single vehicle collisions.

The first one came on Saturday on Highway 60 in Madawaska Valley, while the second collision was on Old Barry’s Bay Road in Barry’s Bay on Sunday.

Police say nobody was injured in either collision, no charged were laid and both vehicles were towed.

The OPP is reminding drivers to slow their speed if they’re unsure whether the road ahead is icy or not.
