After months of anticipation, the official ribbon cutting at the Eganville Arena is coming up this week.
That’s according to the Mayor of Bonnechere Valley Jennifer Murphy, who says the ribbon cutting ceremony will be this Friday at the arena at 10:00am.
Murphy also says the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Eleanor McMahon will be on hand at the ceremony to help officially reopen the arena, which underwent renovations over the summer.

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport granted the arena $445,000 through the Ontario 150 Community Capital Program.
