A snowfall warning has been issued in the Madawaska Valley, as the area is expected to be hit with its first winter storm of the year.

Environment Canada is calling for up to 20 centimetres of snow starting tomorrow evening before ending Sunday morning. Gusty winds could also cause blowing snow, which could reduce visibility.

Environment Canada also says there will be up to 10 centimetres of snow tonight and into tomorrow, which could be mixed with rain.
