Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is asking for the public’s help after poppy donation funds were stolen from a pair of convenience stores in Pembroke.
Police say they received two calls on Monday about funds being stolen from donation boxes. The first one happened Mac’s Convenience on Pembroke Street East.
Police say there are two suspects in this incident, and have released pictures of both of them.

The second incident was also at a Mac’s Store, this one on Pembroke Street West, sometime between November 7th and 8th. Police are unsure if the incidents are connected.
Anybody with information regarding the two suspects, or either incident, is encouraged to contact either the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
