Construction on Mask Island is set to continue Tuesday.
That’s because the Madawaska Valley Township is doing Culvert Repairs on the Mask Island causeway’s southern portion once again this morning.
The repairs started Monday morning at 9:00 and went until 3:00pm, with the same schedule expected today.

This will result in a full closure of the road, with the culvert replacements set to be completed by tomorrow.
