MPP’s Private Member’s Bill passes second reading

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski’s Private Member’s Bill to protect victims of violence has passed the second reading.

The bill received the support of all parties in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday. He says he wants to see the government introduce its own legislation on the issue.
