Killaloe OPP is reminding motorists to make sure they have snow tires ahead of the winter season.
Constable Catherine Yarmel says that winter tires are proven to work in tough conditions.
Yarmel also says you should always check road conditions before driving in snowy weather.

Most insurance companies also offer a 5% discount to motorists who have four properly marked winter tires on their vehicle.
