More charges have been laid after a collision claimed the life of a woman in Arnprior in September.
20-year-old Zachary Wittke was originally charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death along with theft of a motor vehicle, but is now also facing first degree murder charges.
Police say Wittke had stolen a vehicle and fled the scene of one collision before being involved in a collision with Sheila Welsh, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

The incident is under investigation by the OPP, the Criminal Investigation Branch, and the Special Investigations Unit.
Wittke will appear in court Wednesday for a bail hearing.
