The Eganville Arena is just about ready for use again.
That’s according to the Mayor of Bonnechere Valley, Jennifer Murphy, who says the township has a ribbon cutting ceremony planned for November 24th to celebrate the completion of the arena project.
Murphy also says that Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport will be in attendance at the ceremony, as her ministry donated $445,000 to the project which say new ice and boards installed, among other improvements.
During the closure, the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre was accommodating ice rentals from the Eganville Arena.
