Power to be restored to local homes by tomorrow afternoon

Twenty-five customers are still without power in our listening area this evening.

Hydro One says 25 homes from the Bancroft operations centre don’t yet have their electricity back following yesterday’s outage. It says all power has been restored to homes out of the Cobden operations centre.  Hydro One says about 120 staff and one helicopter are on-site.  Power in the Bancroft area is expected to return by tomorrow at noon.

The outage is impacting about 25,000 Ontario customers.
