The Madawaska Valley Township is running out of storage space.

That’s according to Councillor Carl Bromwich, who says that storage at all 18 of the Madawaska Valley’s Municipal Buildings is nearly full. Bromwich states the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre as one example, and the Barry’s Bay Fire Hall as another, saying that there are some areas that are too crowded for fire fighters to even walk through.

Bromwich says that some solutions are available, including taking an inventory of what is in each facility so the township has a better idea of what they already have and what they need to purchase.
