Petawawa Man Wins Nearly $70,000 in Lottery

A Petawawa man is celebrating after taking home nearly $70,000 on a football pool card.

Terence Picard took home $68,248 after buying his ticket last week. Picard then says he went home and watch all of the games.

When Picard had seen that 12 of his 13 predictions were correct, he just had to wait on the Monday Night Football game.

After his prediction on Monday Night was correct, he checked the OLG website thinking he’d only win a few thousand, not $68,000.

Picard says he wants to go to Vegas with his winnings.

The winning ticket was sold on Petawawa Boulevard in Petawawa.
