Deceased Identified After Collision That Closed Highway 60 in Algonquin Park

Killaloe OPP have released the identity of a man killed on Highway 60 in Algonquin Park over the weekend.

Police say that around 1:15pm on Saturday they responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 60 near Smoke Lake. The 68-year-old driver of the motorcycle, identified as Morley Train from Barrie was pronounced dead at the scene, while his female passenger was brought to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The collision closed Highway 60 through Algonquin Park for nearly six hours.
