Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Detachment Commander Mark Wolfe is retiring.

Wolfe has given 30 years of his life servicing the OPP, including the last three as Detachment Commander at the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP in Pembroke.

Throughout his career, Wolfe also served as Detachment Commander in both Aurora and Bancroft, and over his three-decade career also worked at both the Beaverton and Kawartha Lakes detachments.

As a result of his retirement, Staff Sargent Karl Duewel will assume the role of Detachment Commander, while Sargent Chris Pinkerton will serve as Operations Manager. A process has begun to determine the next Detachment Commander.
