The Rotary Club of Petawawa is looking to make the lives of others brighter this Christmas.
The club is working with Petawawa’s park and recreation and public works departments to launch its first “To Help Brighten the Lives of Others” campaign. For a $2 donation, you’ll be able to buy a bulb on a spruce tree outside the Petawawa Civic Centre in memory or celebration of someone special.
Club President Lorne Wilson says it’s a new way for the club to fundraise for a range of causes at once.
Bulbs can be bought at the Petawawa Public Library.
