House Fire In Cobden Being Treated As Suspicious

Police are treating a fire in Cobden as suspicious.

Renfrew OPP says the Whitewater Region Fire Department Responded to a call on Meadow Street around 4:30 on Tuesday morning. Officials say the house was destroyed by the fire.

Police say at the time of the fire there was nobody in the house. After the blaze was put out the Fire Chief called the OPP to conduct an investigation, which is being assisted by the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office.
