Killaloe OPP are reminding residents to be wary of who you send money to to avoid fraud.
This comes after police were called to a fraud call on Chippawa Road on Friday. The victim had applied for a loan but was told to pay $1400 up front to the company.
As a result, the victim was defrauded the money. Killaloe OPP reminds community members never to send money to anybody, whether it be a person or company, without first confirming the source.
