The Madawaska Valley Fitness Centre has been approved an extension for their Ontario Trillium Foundation Funding.
The extension will last for two months, and will allow to township to use the remaining $35,000 of the funding for the fitness centre.
However, council is reaching out to the public to start signing up for the fitness centre, as it will need to be self-sustaining after the grant is over.
Memberships for adults is $30 a month, while youth and seniors pay $17 a month.
