Power outage impacting homes across the region

A weather system has turned off the lights for homes across our listening area this afternoon.

Hydro One says just over 900 customers are being impacted out of the Cobden operations centre. The power is expected to be back by 2:30 this afternoon. More than 6,000 households are also being impacted out of the operations centre in Bancroft. For some, the power could be out until midnight.

Roughly 109,000 customers are reported to be without electricity throughout Ontario.
