The OPP is reminding residents that with the hotter weather, it’s important not to leave pets in your car.
Killaloe OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel says leaving pets in a hot vehicle can lead to criminal charges.
Yarmel also says if you plan on going out and you know your car will be unattended, make plans to leave your pet at home or have someone watch them.
Temperatures are set to reach 40 on Tuesday, and 32 on Wednesday.
