The Madawaska Valley Falcons Junior Hockey team have their home opener this weekend, and it won’t cost you a nickel to watch.
The team says their first ever game in Barry’s Bay will be free admission to everyone, as they want to community to see junior hockey first hand in the Madawaska Valley.
All home games are to be held at the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre, and the home opener is this Saturday at 7:30pm against the Maniwaki Mustangs.
Gameday festivities will include a BBQ before the game, as well as Mayor Kim Love dropping the ceremonial game puck.
