Sugar Maple Leaves At Peak Colour This Weekend

Sugar Maple fall colours are nearing their peak in Algonquin Park, a little earlier than usual.

That’s according to Ontario Parks, saying this week and weekend will be the best time to catch the change in the colour of their leaves along the Highway 60 corridor.

Ontario Parks says this year’s warm weather is driving the early change in Sugar Maple leaf colours in Algonquin Park.

Typically, the Sugar Maple canopy reaches its peak colour change around September 27th.
