October 16th-22nd Named “Waste Reduction Week”

Madawaska Valley municipal Council has officially declared a “Waste Reduction Week”.

Waste Reduction Week is running from October 16^th until the 22^nd, as decided at the most recent council meeting.

Madawaska Valley will join other municipalities around Canada in naming this Waste Reduction Week.

The township was recently tested for how well their residents recycle, and results show that there’s just a two percent error when sorting garbage, which is well below the provincial average.
