CDC planning free cooking classes in Bancroft in new year

The Community Development Council of Quinte is working to bring free cooking classes to Bancroft.

The non-profit organization holds classes around Hastings County and is planning to host some in Bancroft in the new year.

Good Food Box Coordinator Jim Mallabar says it’s about giving those living on a low income the skills and means to cook.
