Construction has begun on Old Barry’s Bay Road.
The road will begin repaving today starting at Highway 60 in Barry’s Bay. This project will cover three of the 20 kilometres that the road stretches.
Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkosie says that this isn’t part of the OCIF Top-Up funding for Old Barry’s Bay Road, and that the remainder of the road will be in their application for the funding.
Kutchkosie says the road will not be closed, but is reminding residents to use caution while in construction zones, and to expect delays.
