Environment Canada is calling for the possibility of funnel clouds today in the Madawaska Valley area.
As a result, a weather advisory has been issued for the area, calling for scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, which could come with dime-sized hail and winds up to 70 kilometres an hour.
The weather agency says funnel clouds could also develop, which could produce a weak landspout tornado.
