Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating following a parachuting accident.
The OPP received the call Sunday just after 7:00pm after a woman conducted a solo parachute jump and
her chute malfunctioned.
The 29-year-old Petawawa woman landed in a field off of Black Bay Road near the Pembroke Airport.
Police say the woman was transported to hospital by paramedics and later died.
