Catholic schools in Killaloe and Douglas are getting new principals.
The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board says Mary Catherine Brisco will be moving from the role of principal at St. Andrew’s Catholic Elementary School to the same role at St. Michael’s Catholic Elementary School. John Freemark is retiring from the position after 29 years with the school board.
Scott Nichol will replacing Brisco in Killaloe, after having been the vice-principal at Our Lady of Sorrows in Petawawa. His position will be filled at a later time.
Both transfers will take effect January 1st, 2016. The RCCDSB says it’s confident in the abilities of both new principals.
