Preliminary Hearings Schedule For South Algonquin Sexual Assault Charges Dating To 1980

Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for sexual assault charges dating back to 1980.

Stan McBride Jr. was first charged in December with attempted sexual assault in South Algonquin dating back to 1980.

Since the initial charges, nine more complaints have been made about McBride dating back to the 80s at the same seasonal property in South Algonquin.

Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for early February in a Pembroke court and will determine if there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial.
