A chance to get rid of large items is coming for North Algona Wilberforce Residents.
This Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm North Algona Wilberforce Residents can drop off bulk items at the Shaw Woods Transfer Site in Lake Dore.
Items that can be dropped off include beds, mattresses, chairs, sofas, desks, and dressers. Boats, kayaks, and appliances with Freon will not be accepted.
The township is reminding residents that loads that are properly sorted will be easier to unload, and that tires, electronics and scrap metal are accepted all year round.
