The 28th annual Maynooth Madness festival will be missing a few events this year, but organizers say there will still be a lot to see and do.
It won’t feature a parade, loggers games, the Highland Heavies, or the Mud Dawgs Mud Run. Organizers for the festival say the decision not to include the parade was to ease congestion on Highway 62, the loggers games have stopped to focus on events downtown, while the Mud Dawgs have chosen to end their run.
But, this year’s events will include ‘Maynooth’s Got Talent,’ the Horticultural Fair and photograph competition, a pancake breakfast, a motorcycle show and shine, a vintage car contest, wagon rides, and much more.
The 28th annual Maynooth Madness festival will run in downtown Maynooth throughout the Labour Day long weekend.
