Bancroft OPP has laid almost 60 charges during its Civic Holiday Weekend campaign.
The province-wide initiative saw police primarily targeting those who did not move over for emergency vehicles on the road, and have laid one charge for it.
The bulk of the charges were for speeding, with 44 being handed out. Three seat belt charges and one liquor license act charge were also handed out.
Between Bancroft and Killaloe OPP Detachments, nearly 170 charges were handed out to drivers over the long weekend.
