Long Weekend A Busy One For Killaloe OPP

Killaloe OPP reports 107 charges have been handed out following the Civic Holiday long weekend.

The Civic Day Long Weekend Traffic Campaign, which ran from August 4^th until 7^th, saw 81 speeding charges laid, 10 Highway Traffic Act charges, and two racing charges.

Other charges that were laid from the traffic campaign were seat belt charges, distracted driving charges, and marine charges.

OPP also says there were 16 RIDE checks conducted over the long weekend.
