The first of two installments from the Gas Tax Fund has been installed.
In July, the Government of Canada delivered the first of two annual $391 million GTF installments to Ontario.
The funding is now available for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario to help support community infrastructure funding.

The Renfrew County will receive over $46,000 to split. Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards will receive $1293, the Madawaska Valley will get $2305, and Laurentian Valley will receive $5198.
Since the program was first introduced in 2005, almost $8 billion has been provided to Ontario communities through the federal Gas Tax Fund.
