Madawaska Valley Fire Department receives grant for new defibrillator
The Madawaska Valley Fire Department has received a grant for a new defibrillator.
When Fire Chief Corwin Quade says when he took over the position over a year ago, they didn’t have a defibrillator.
Quade says the budget was very tight, so he got in touch with MPP John Yakabuski who forwarded him to Hydro One.
Quade also says Hydro One was was easy to work with and was very helpful.
The lifespan of a defibrillator can be up to 20 years depending on how often it’s used.
