Between June and July, North Hastings was hit with 20 millimeters more rain than usual, according to Environment Canada.

However, Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell points out that the region was hit with less than 70 millimeters during July.

Kimbell says a lot of this summer’s extra rain came from June, which was over 40 millimeters more than the average.

Kimbell also says that it’s tough to predict what August has in store.
