KAPOA Poker Run To Raise Funds For New St. Francis Hospital Stretchers

The 5^th annual KAPOA Poker Run is tomorrow morning at the Barry’s Bay Docks.

Participants will travel to seven different docks on the Madawaska River, collecting playing cards to create the best poker hand possible.

The Poker Run is an annual event put on by the Kamaniskeg Area Property Owners Association, and it raises money for the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation. KAPOA says last year this event raised over $11,000 for the SFVH Foundation, and this year they’re looking to exceed that goal.

All of this year’s proceeds will go towards two new stretchers at St. Francis Hospital in Barry’s Bay.

Registration starts tomorrow morning at 9:00am, and the Poker Run itself starts at 10:00am.
