Winter maintenance operations in Hastings Highlands could be a little different this year.
The Ministry of Transportation is proposing two new material storage buildings at the Maynooth Patrol Yard to be used during maintenance this winter. One of these buildings would be used by Hastings Highlands, the other by the MTO, and would measure over 10,000 square feet each. Preliminary estimates from the MTO suggest it would cost $550,000 for the project.
This information will be presented during a Hastings Highlands Council meeting tomorrow, which starts at 9:00am at the Hastings Highlands Centre in Maynooth.
