Highway 28 South is still closed because of a washout just south of Crowe River Drive.

Bancroft OPP says the road is closed between Highway 118 and McGillivray Road at this time, and detours have been set up.

MTO Maintenance Superintendent John Potts says, barring any unforeseen circumstances, one lane could be open by 5:00pm. Potts says both lanes may be open later tonight.
