Washout prompts closure of a portion of Highway 28

Highway 28 South has been hit with a washout just south of Crowe River Drive.

Bancroft OPP says, as a result, the road is closed in both directions between McGillivray Road and Highway 118 until further notice, and could take days to reopen.

Detours have been set up.

Emergency services and road crews are on scene.
