Young offender charged with drug and theft charges in Bancroft

A local minor is facing a number of charges, including possession of drugs and property obtained by crime.

Bancroft OPP says the young offender was pulled over after a complaint about a suspicious vehicle at a business on Hastings Street North in Bancroft early on the morning of June 24^th. After speaking to police, the minor has been charged with two counts of possession of drugs, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, and driving without a licence.

The young offender has been released on a promise to appear in Bancroft Court.
