Watersheds monitored by the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority are now under a water safety statement.

That includes waterways in parts of Highlands East, North Kawartha, Faraday, Wollaston, Limerick, and Tudor and Cashel. The conservation authority says these waterways could have high flows, unsafe banks, and other factors which could make them dangerous for those using them. Flooding is not expected at this time.

This comes as the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has also issued a water safety statement for the Little Mississippi River and Weslemkoon Lake.
