Thefts in Limerick and Hastings Highlands prompt police request for information

The Bancroft OPP is investigating two thefts across the detachment area’s region, and needs your help.

The first happened at around 11:30pm on June 18th at a property on Highway 62 in Limerick. Police say two unknown suspects wearing hoodies broke into a storage container, and stole a grey and orange Echo gas-powered weed eater, a red and silver gas-powered scooter, and a black and grey Mastercraft Eliminator battery pack.

A second theft also happened on Kamaniskeg Lake Road in Hastings Highalnds sometime between 2:00pm on June 25th and the evening of June 29th. Police say unknown suspects went onto a property, and stole a red 1990 Honda RX3 ATV with Ontario licence plates reading ‘SB304.’

Anyone with information on either of these thefts is being asked to call Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
