Bossio says Canadian Free Trade Agreement will help small businesses

The Hastings-Lennox and Addington MP says it will now be easier for small businesses to trade their products across Canada.

The federal government has approved a Canadian Free Trade Agreement. MP Mike Bossio says this will break down barriers between Canada’s provinces and territories, to help make trade between them easier.

Bossio says the agreement is meant to eliminate a lot of red tape, which will make it easier for small businesses to compete with larger ones on a cost standpoint.

He says steps still have to be taken to improve wine, beer, and spirit trade across the country.
