Bossio reaches out to communities to address rural poverty
The Hastings-Lennox & Addington MP is working on ways to reduce poverty in Canada’s rural communities.
MP Mike Bossio says he has recently taken part in consultations about the issue with communities across the riding. Bossio says opening a dialogue is the first step for the federal government to find solutions and improve the economic well-being of all Canadian families so they can succeed.
He says it’s very important to get a rural perspective about poverty because more of it goes ‘unseen’ than in urban areas.
Anyone in North Hastings with concerns or solutions about rural poverty can contact Bossio’s constituency office.
